Announcement: Tribal health care organizations may now apply for up to 20% of their construction contracts to equip their new facilities.
Eligibility requirements: In most cases, tribes may submit an application for funding consideration for FY 2026 if the following criteria are met:
- Tribal health care organization constructs an expansion or replacement facility using non-IHS funding; and
- Signs or plans on signing a construction contract between October 1, 2024 and September 30, 2027; and
- The application is received by the application deadline.
